When we are in times of need who do we ask for assistance? Our ancestors, spirit guides, the universe, god? For us it is many including Marie Laveau and we want to share that with our customers. About 10 years ago, I went to her grave and I made three wishes with my offering. All 3 of my wishes were granted, and I always made sure to leave her a monetary offering while in New Orleans. This will also be done for our customers.
Marie Laveau (September 10, 1801 – June 15, 1881) was a Louisiana Creole practitioner of Voodoo, herbalist, and midwife who was renowned in New Orleans. She was a free woman of color descended from enslaved Africans and French colonists. Marie Laveau is known as the Voudou Queen of New Orleans. She became a symbol of voodoo in New Orleans, but was also a devoted Catholic and is currently buried in St. Louis Cemetery No. 1. Her tomb has become a place of homage, where people leave offerings, seek blessings, and connect with the spiritual wisdom that she symbolized. Marie Laveau’s combination of clairvoyance, healing abilities, beauty, charisma, showmanship, intimidation, and business sense contributed to her prominent position in New Orleans society.
We will send a link with a video of the ritual within 24 hours of the ritual date. Please do not share this video with others.Â
